How to Find Tech (and other) Bargains

Posted: March 11th, 2010 | Author: | Filed under: Resources | No Comments »
Most of us love a bargain – but the problem is finding the time to seek them out.
I usually check out a few bargain sites at the beginning of each day to take a look at what is available. For me, this involves mostly computer equipment, electronics, hardware, etc. But I have also found some other super “deals” as well.
Something I do (and you may consider too) is to make a list of the equipment you are looking for and post it near your computer. Mine has items like: external hard drives, new camcorder, and a new keyboard among others.
For example, I just picked up a nice Plantronics Bluetooth Headset for only $24.99 AND free shipping. The same item goes for approximately $65 on Best Buy – a *cool* savings of $40 – nice.
Here are a few “deal” sites that are worth looking into on a regular basis.
Deal Hack – http://www.dealhack.com/index.html
Deal Catcher – http://www.dealcatcher.com/
TechBargains – http://www.techbargains.com/
Woot – http://www.woot.com/
There is a definite “thrill” that comes when finding a good bargain that is perfect for your needs.
Here’s hoping you’ll find a few more (soon).
